04/27/2011It happened.
As of Wednesday, $6 gas was officially a reality in Hawaii.
The Hana Pit Stop on Maui, a Chevron station, reports that regular costs $6.03, plus is $6.14 and super costs a whopping $6.25 a gallon.
The news comes as AAA reports that the average price for a gallon of gas in the state has reached an all-time high, at $4.55.
Don't feel too down though. Residents in Oslo, Norway, were shelling out $9.28 a gallon as recently as March. According to CNN, most Europeans pay between $7.50 and $8.00 a gallon.
